The result of the discussion was: delete. This page was deleted under G7, but I am closing this debate as delete to remove the possibility of a WP:REFUND. MER-C 16:58, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
Declined so many times, I demand a strong delete. –User456541 15:49, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- Delete and Salt - The second decline appears to be a mistake on my part, in that I should have done a Reject as Wikipedia is not for advertising. More generally, I and some other reviewers are learning to Reject stuff that isn't quite G11 but will still never make it. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:19, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- I honestly don't understand. There are numerous less important and less noteworthy solar developers and solar company's with wikipedia entries. Solar developers that are either similar or smaller and less noteworthy with wikipedia entries include CleanMax Solar, Lightsource Renewable energy, First Solar, Sun Edison, UGE International, Enel, Azure Power, Clean Energy Collective, Semper Solaris, Solar Reserve, Etrion, etc. etc. etc. Is there a standard of notability that these companies somehow reach? 8minutenergy has more than 2 Gigawatts of solar developed, developed the largest solar farm in California (800 MW also one of the largest in the world)[1], is the first solar company in the U.S.A. to develop a project below the cost of fossil fuels[2], and have the current record low price for a solar project in the U.S.A.[3] The latest decline was not about point of view (the piece was heavily edited), but notability. I'm not understanding how so many less notable companies have entries if this company is not meeting the standard. Please advise.QueensExpert11372 (talk) 18:05, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- Comment - User:QueensExpert11372 - Do you want to nominate the companies listed above for deletion? Robert McClenon (talk) 07:12, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
- Comment - User:QueensExpert11372 - You appear to be arguing against deletion with further advertising. Robert McClenon (talk) 07:12, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
